Mind shift to a positive life is possible when you learn to think differently. A friend sent me the following story by email and I wanted to share it with you. The simplicity and humour resonated with me – and I believe you could use the analogy to change how you live your life.

The Defense Paradox – T Crane
It was Ghandi who said “an eye for an eye makes the whole world blind”.
I bring this up because lately I have been reading what many people on facebook have been writing about – war, crime, revenge (also called justice).
Our system of justice is set-up to punish those who have committed a wrong – to exact revenge. Now bear with me on this, I understand very deeply what it feels like to be on the receiving end of crime – however consider some alternatives.
I am reminded of a story which took place in Vancouver back in the 90′s.
There was an elderly Chinese gentleman in a park in the early morning hours doing his daily T’ai Chi practice when he was attacked by 2 young people. They were looking for an easy mark.
